I have about 30 Z-wave devices in my home, all listed and controllable on the Vera dashboard. I have added many of them to my Alexa list via discovery. There is one dimmable wall switch that I can control with Vera but I can’t get Alexa to recognize it. Can anyone suggest what I can do to solve this?
I am not sure this will fix your problem or not. I had a z-wave lamp in my office that stopped working one day, I think related to an temporary internet outage. I ended up having Alexa forget all devices and re-discover them to get it to see it again. My Hue lamps were not affected, just the z-wave lamps.
Thanks, but I’ve tried that. Still controllable with Vera but Alexa can’t see it.
