Just when you think you have everything under control… poof!
I have a Vera Plus that I have been using solidly for about 3 months now linked to Home Assistant as I migrated away from Wink.
Woke up this morning and all the outside lights were still on.
Had trouble connecting remotely to Vera but on my internal IP address, no problem.
The controller showed issues just after 11pm last night.
There are NO devices showing.
Every last thing I had in there has GONE and I have no idea how to fix it.
Can anyone help please?
Restore from the most recent backup. Tick ‘Restore z-wave network’
Thanks for getting back in touch so quickly.
I am looking at the page and I will do just that and see if it works.
I have been so focussed on getting HA running in Ubuntu on ProxMox and getting Lovelace and all the integrations working, I never actually thought the one thing that seemed really bulletproof would fall over.
Coming from an extremely buggy Wink I thought I was okay.
I only discovered the back-up option this morning when I was looking.
Hopefully this will sort you out.
I panicked and although I have been diligent about daily back-ups of Docker, Home Assistant, Node-Red and daily HA states, I thought I had forgotten about Vera. I did have daily back-ups set so I am okay.
Thanks my friend. Eased my mind. A rookie mistake on my part
