Should I delete the devices off the Vera and simply reconnect them to the Ezlo? Should I have the Ezlo powered using a battery pack so that I can get within 3 ft of each device?

I’d properly exclude them from Vera and pair them with Ezlo.
As long as you include them one by one in the order of the range starting with the close ones, they all should be picked up without the need of moving the Ezlo controller.nt de
