Yesterday the new apps VM was finished and all the data fully migrated.
We have deployed a new VM, in a better and faster data center, on better hardware, with a recent LAMP stack.
We still allow both http and https for downloads and uploads to the store, due to the needed compatibility with older hardware, be it supported or not (Vera 2, Vera 3).
The next server related milestones are:
- enabling local caches on each continent
- enforce ssl for any frontend call (upload, search plugins etc)
- fixing some items that were not previously publish (links to images, returning 404)
