Beta - Ezlo Linux fw v.1.0.26 for Vera Edge controllers

We’re releasing a hot fix for Ezlo Linux firmware v.1.0.26 that now allows the firmware to get updated on Vera Edge controllers.

Known issues:

  • Issue with no “http_connection_closed” broadcast when the connection is closed via http.close_connection(id).
  • Issue on Z-Wave devices with “electric_meter_amper” that is updated only when the hub is restarted. Ampere meter not changing value instantly once pairing a device supporting it (for example pairing a switch and adding some load to it - e.g. connect a bulb)

Hello Ioana,

I have a 2nd Vera Edge controller laying around here. I would like to give the new Linux firmware a try.
What do I have to do in order to migrate?

Sure, I’m glad to hear this.
Before you change the fw please read this post. Now is not a pre-Alpha, is a Beta, but still, is important to acknowledge is not GA yet.

The steps to get the Ezlo Linux firmware are described here. Before you proceed please wait for my green light. It looks we might have an issue at the moment on cloud side that will prevent your VeraEdge to properly upgrade to Ezlo Linux firmware.
I’ll get back to you asap once I have the confirmation the cloud issue was fixed.

Thank you for your understanding,
Ioana
