Can't Detect Device error.

Hi,

I followed the tutorial i found in another post from 007.

However i just cannot seem to get past this detect device issue. Ive tried removing the DSC plugin, rebooting and reinstalling to no joy.

I seem to be able to disarm or arm the DSC alarm and see the status, but vera doesnt appear to be updating the status of the zones? And of course the annoying red error of Cant Detect Device that appears on the Main DSC Plugin App…

EDIT: the sensors are reporting trips as I test them, so it all appears to work except the damn can?t detect device error…

I did search this forum and found a few threads, most were left unanswered and i couldnt find a solution…

Screenshots are attached… cheers in advance anyone who can help.

And… after doing nothing it seems to have just sorted itself out… ??? ???

Hi,

I have the same issue as you had.
It has been working for several months and then I tried to start arming through Vera.
Now the red detection warning is hitting me.
Any clues?

Hey bob,

I?ve never tried arming via Vera… will give it a go and see if it works when I get home.

I changed the variable CommFailure from 1 to 0.
Seems to be working…
Fingers crossed that it will last!
(Got the arming to work as well)
