Cheap Wifi + RF + IR Controller (Broadlink-RM2-Pro)

I saw your video and it looks great.
If you need some sort of beta tester I am in.

I have nexus 5 and Rm pro

I’ve just released my Tasker plugin for Broadlink RM devices to Google Play Store.
Take a look at my demo video here if you haven’t already Broadlink RM Tasker plugin - YouTube

Get it from Google Play Store http://bit.ly/rm_tasker
7-days trial version is also available here http://bit.ly/rm_trial

Really love that registration process…

Looks very interesting and I was wondering if I can connect an RF Weather Station Transmitter into my RM PRO and use your tasker to automate the control of my AC?

If I buy this kind of cheap RF433 Weather station transmitter (or a few), is the RM Pro able to receive the readings and make adjustments according to your tasker scripts?

I would like to achieve a bit more complex logics taking into count the data from the indoor RF Transmitter (or a few) combined with info from the local professional weather station via internet. Then make a script with the tasker that takes into count the changes in the outdoor temperature to take action in order to minimize the impact on whatever requested indoor temp.

If above is possible, then for cooling this would work easy b/c the RM PRO can do IR.
For my central heating thermostat I would need to build a smart socket workaround that would cheat the temp sensor to reduce heating when controlled by warming the temp sensor.

I also have a question… If I buy a RM2-Pro, can I use that to control my Marantz SR-6005 receiver from VERA (OR any other App) ?

Anyone know if it can interact with the Harmony Hub (Ultimate) somehow?

I have a projector lift and curtains running on RF signal but all the rest of my equipment for the home cinema setup in Harmony Ultimate. What I would like would be to add buttons to the Harmony Ultimate that can trigger the RF signal from the Broadlink RM2 Pro.

This would obviously have to be an API solution as the RM2 would have to receive the API call over WiFi. I know the Harmony Hub has an API but it is unfortunately not public so I have no clue if it can be done…

I have reseived W809II similar to broadlink , and it work from IPHONe but from samsung I cant configure it ???

Sombody could help me

OK, i have a stupid question. Once you have identified the codes how do you please them in Vera?

Hi everyone

Do i understand that nobody have found a way to use the broadlink RM pro with the Vera ?

Please get back to me ?!

Martin

Look for RM pro bridge an it will guide you on how to setup and use the bridge. It works with Vera by setting up a scene for each event. Good luck

Hi

When i get that url code from the rm bridge how do I use it in the Vera?

I’m really new in the Vera world.

Thanks

Martin

Set up a scene and plug your code in the the Lua code section on the scene creator. Code should include the following
os.execute(‘curl -g “http://your bridge ip:7474/?cmd=%7B%22api_id%22:1004,%22command%22:%22send_code%22,%22mac%22:%22b4:43:0d:9b:b0:d5%22,%22data%22:%22e90040031404040c061404078e4f36081a0718080b1518090a16180819080a160b1518090a16170a1709170917090a17160b150b08190818140f041e040001a0041f041d051a120e051c11069d52330d130d140d061a130d0719140e120d07190719150c0719140c140d150b140c0719150d130c071a0718150c071908180818091808180818081809190718150b160b150b08180917160b08180917160b0818b751350b150b160a0918150b0917160b150b08180918150b0818160a160b160a160a0919140b160a09180818160a09180818091709170a170917091709180917160a160a170a0a160b17150a09170917160a0a17b752340b160a170a0818160a0917160b160a09170a16170a0917160a170a160a160a0918160a170909180917160a09180917091709170a17091808170a160a17160a1709170a09170a17160a09170917170a0917b751360a160a18090917160a0917170a160a0917091817090917170a160a160a160b0917160a160b0818091816090a17091709170a160a1709170919081709171709170a160a0a160a1618090b150a17160a0917b850360a160a160b0917160c0717170a170909180917160b0817170a160a160a170a0917160a170a09170917160b0917091709170a17091709170a160a1709171709170a160a09170a17160a09170a17160a0a16b850360b150a170a0917160a0a17160a160a09180917160a0b15170a160b150b160a0917160b160a09170919150a091709170a170a1609170a160a1709170a16170a160a160b09160a17160a0a170917160a0a16b850360a160b160a0917160b0917160a160a0a170917160a0a17160a160b160a160a0b15170a160b08170a17160a091808170a17091709170a1709170a160a16170a170917090b16091717090a17091817080b15b851350a170a160a0917160b0917160a170a09170918150b0917160a170b150a17090917170a160a09180917160a09170a17091709170a160a1808170a160a17160b150b160a09170917170a09170b15170a0a16b752350a160a160a0919150a0917160a170a09170917170a0917160b160b150a160a0a17160a160a0a170917160a0b160917091709170a17091709170a160a17160a1709170a09170a16170a0b150a16170a0917160005dc0917170a0917160b%22%7D”’)

Good luck

I could use some help with the Lua code for Vera using the RM Bridge. I have been able to get the RM Bridge set up and have learned codes. I have all the RM Bridge commands documented (Short URL, Command URL, and Plain Command). I’m lost on how to write the Lua code to create a scene in Vera. Can some give me a sample code that I could use? thanks for the help.

Here are the commands I have from RM bridge

Short URL
http://192.168.1.13:7474/code/TV%20Down
Plain Command
{“api_id”:1004,“command”:“send_code”,“mac”:“b6:46:0d:fb:e3:bc”,“data”:“781f34000e2c2b0f0f2c2b100e2d2c100f2d2c100f2d2c100f2d2c100f2d2b100f2d2c100f2d0e2d0f2c0f2d2b102c100f2d0e2d0f0001c300000000”}
Command URL
http://192.168.1.13:7474/?cmd={“api_id”:1004,“command”:“send_code”,“mac”:“b4:43:0d:fb:e3:bc”,“data”:“781f34000e2c2b0f0f2c2b100e2d2c100f2d2c100f2d2c100f2d2c100f2d2b100f2d2c100f2d0e2d0f2c0f2d2b102c100f2d0e2d0f0001c300000000”}

Create a scene and use the code in my note above replacing it with your command.

Hi

Looking to purchase a Broadlink RM PRO but is the Android RM-Bridge app still the only way to get Vera talking to it ?

Is there no way for Vera to directly send http JSON commands to the RM Pro device without the need for an Android bridge device ?

Thanks.

Hi

I think so, however once setup the Vera can control the broadlink very easy. The creator was vert bright I find it can control anything.

Good luck.

Hi

So are you using the RM-Bridge app or the other one called RM Tasker plugin app?

Thanks

HI

I use the RM bridge, set up on an old phone (or Android TV Box). Once setup you can put that phone anywhere as long as it is still connected to the same network. Then Vera uses the bridge to communicate with all of your devices, actually i am looking for away to boost this to all over the house or one per floor. It currently controls my heatpump, fireplace, blinds, and etc.

Not sure if this helps.

Good luck.
