Dome Door Sensor Pro Always Says Door Is Open

My Dome door sensor pro says the door is open even when it isn’t. I even moved the sensor and magnet as close as possible (see photo at Imgur: The magic of the Internet). I have included it and excluded it several times. Any ideas?

Is it in the right horizontal position (looking at that photo)
My door sensors have a line on the magnet and sensor to indicate where they should line up.

Do you know if this sensor sends a message both when the door is opened AND when it is again closed? Some security sensors only send a message when they are tripped - and not when the condition is cleared. If you check the variables associated with the device you may find one called AutoUntrip. If you set this to something other than 0 it will untrip the sensor after that number of seconds.

@Catman Yes it is, right next to the line. It also says the sensor only needs to be within 1.25 inches.

@tinman Yes, it is supposed to do both.
