I want to activate a sensor when all users are away. First, I thought of using the Vera modes (home/away.etc) for this but the problem is that when switching vera modes it seems that you have no choice but to pick an arm/disarm status for each other (e.g. motion) sensor and I figured it’d be more flexible to have a reactor setup for this anyway.
So I have geofencing setup on my phone with my vera account.
When I setup a vera reactor and make a condition for geofence with user in the geofence, the icon for this device changes to one with an exclamation point. If I delete that condition and replace it with something like else like a simple “device state” it’s fine, and the icon returns to normal. It’s the only condition, there are no expressions and there are no activities even.
I don’t know if that’s the same issue. I did a logic report and see this error… could this be the problem, and, if so, why?

Seems to me that its the same issue. Geofencing with vera has never been stable and many others like myself have found success with other methods. Id recommend using the iPhoneLocator plugin if you’re using apple devices
in my experience I find it most stable when im logged in and when i click the install apps section I wait for the spinner to stop spinning before I retry
