I’m having a new HVAC system installed. I’ve received several quotes and am leaning towards an Amana system. A bit of history FWIW: Goodman bought Amana, and then Daiken bough Goodman (along with Amana). So all three offer their top-of-the-line CTK04 smart thermostat.
But as I research it, it seems that it only connects to WiFi with an extra-price option. And even then it’s not clear if it can be controlled by Vera and/or Alexa. Does anyone have one of these thermostats, and successfully integrated it into their home automation system?
