My VeraEdge bricked during the firmware upgrade. Tech Support tried to help but declared it dead. I tried to load the VE backup on my old Vera3 right after it was updated to the latest UI7…
It started out great! Everything came over… then all of a sudden it went the other way and tried building up a generic network. I watched as one by one my devices lost their custom names and became un-configured!!! Is there any way to do what I am trying to do? I hate VE but I don’t want to have to rebuild everything all over again!
Is there a way to prevent the re-configuring? I tried unchecking the automatically reconfigure the zwave network but it keeps re-checking itself and reverting to generic… ??? >:(
