I switched over to a new phone (Axon 7) and somehow the notification handling in general is different on the phone to save battery.
All other apps are working to display notifications when the phone screen is off but Vera Alerts does not display notifications. It’s not even that the notifications pile up and come through when the phone is unlocked. Somehow the notifications are completely dropped if the screen is off. The phone will only receive notifications when the the screen is on and it is on the lock screen or when the phone is unlocked and the screen is on.
I have compared notification setting to other apps but could find no issue with setups on the phone.
