I recently added additional Nest Protects to my system. With the previous Nest Protects I used the Sensor Indicator to display their status. That worked fine. Now when I go to add the new Nest Protects I add the Sensor Indicator control and go to link the Protect and it isn’t in the available list of “sensors”. In fact the previously installed Protects no longer show up in the list but the Sensor Indicators previously configured still seem to work with the old Protects. I was able to find the Protects in the Multi Value Display control list of devices though. I’m using the VeraConnect WWN app to access the Nest data. Any ideas what might be causing the issue?
Try tripping the new sensors and then see if they show up in the list.
