Anyone has experience connecting Vera with an opentherm heater and smart thermostat valves?
I have been looking all over the internet but it seems everyone is using on/off heaters or max a 2 stage heater.
With opentherm you can control the heater from, theoretically, 0 to 100%. Most of the time based on the outside temperature.
Until now it seems Tado has some kind of support. http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php?topic=50378.0
And surprisingly the 3rd gen of Nest also under the True Radiant name but only the European version and you need to integrate it with some other brand of smart radiator valve. OpenTherm and what Nest thermostats can do with it - Google Nest Help
Is it so weird to have a modulating heater with hot water runner or is it so common that no one even mentions it anymore? :-\
