Partly Solved: Unplugged rfxcom, after connecting back it's not working anymore.

I used the rfxcommngr in Windows to program a Somfy motor. Choosing the id’s and the program option gave me the blinds going down/up a bit. Great.

Then I connected the rfxcom back to Vera, but… it’s not seen anymore. There is a LUA startup failure. HUH… it was working with KAKU 15 minutes ago.
Rebooted Vera with rfxcom connected, but…nope still nothing.

Any idea?

Hmmm Got it working again. Still some advice please.

I renamed the device. So it seems I had to configure the serial port again, as the name changed.
It this once? Or do I have to configure always after a reboot?

What’s the procedure for unplugging rfcxom?

I believe you had the transceiver connected previously using a different plugin. When you reconnected using the new plugin it is seen as a new device - thus the need to configure the serial port. There should be no need to do this again.

Thanks.

Just tried again, pulling it out and putting it back in. Working fine.

This may be the same issue I had. I removed my RFXcom and rebooted the hub. This caused it to forget the serial port config. I managed to fix it again by reconfiguring the serial port then restarting the hub.

I posted my experience here:
