On all my LSM’s the progression has been the same. Intermittently they will click rapidly (load flickers). The load can still be switched on and off at this point. The duty cycle of the clicking becomes more and more as the product ages. Eventually it becomes constant, the clicking “blends” into more of a buzz, the load ceases to flicker, and is stuck in an off state (can’t be switched on at all).
sorry to hear the problems with your HID kit…I know its frustrating when such things happen…it seems like the kit you have gotten from someone is faulty and not reliable…it could also be a problem with your battery or harnesses…its hard to diagnose such things…
I have read alot of places that alot of people have problems with their aftermarket HID kits from bulbs to ballasts to igniters, however there are people who are equally happy with their kits as they dont cause so many problems.
which kit do you have and what year is your car?
