Here as well (US). I’ve just accepted it for the time being as “just the way it is”…
Actually, this has been going on since the beginning with Vera. Not a problem with Hue, ISY or Wink. Only Vera. On Echo Show, it reports not responding after turning on the device. What is new is, it now reports with an error message (on Echo Show).
I don’t have the issue often, mostly later in the evening. That’s one of the reasons I chalked it up as just the way it is. I figured there’s more internet traffic in the evening and it slows things down. I don’t know what issues others are having or what’s causing them. It doesn’t surprise me to hear that others have been having issues “since the beginning” though. As I stated in another thread, the previous owners of the Vera platform seriously neglected it, leaving development to the user community and doing very little themselves…
…and now everything is back up to speed. No delay between Alexa command and Vera execution.
