When Samsung moved my RoboVac from SmartHome Appliances to the Smartthings App I lost functionality and control of the vacuum in Vera. Has anyone created a new plugin that I don’t know about? Anyone willing to give it a crack?
If this is supported by NodeRed, it’s probably the easiest path.
There seems to be plugins for openhab and home assistant, plus IFTTT support. If you want the easiest route, go for IFTTT.
What are you trying to achieve exactly?
I am not familiar with node red.
I have never used IFTTT before.
I want to set up a reactor that will not allow the vacuum to run if the Emby plugin shows that something is being watched on the family room TV.
Emby itself has Webhooks plugin built-in but I don’t use it nor do I know if Vera does either.
Looking at IFTTT, it seems to be supported.

You could easily call a webhook on IFTTT from your Vera, when the Emby is running, to stop the cleaning. This way, even if the cleaning is running, you can stop it.
I’m not sure this devices have local webhooks, probably yes. Another way is to link to an Alexa routine, and run it. What I’m saying is that you have to be creative with it.
