Scene to turn off lights my kids leave on?

My kids are constantly leaving the lights on. Is there any way to have them turn off without me checking my dashboard all the time? Like maybe a scene that would check to see if they’re on and turn them off if it’s been an hour maybe?

May I suggest @rigpapa’s DelayLight plug-in? It’s pretty much designed to do just that. DelayLight timings also survive LUUP reloads.

Thanks. I’m not sure I know what I’m doing with it, but I’ll play around.

Do you have any good motion sensors you could recommend?

@rigpapa has complete documentation here: DelayLight I’ve used the Ecolink PIR, the Aeotec Multisensor 6, and the Dome Motion Sensor with good results.
