A idea for a seasonal functionality (possibly incorporated into reactor) is to have a daily variable countdown length to a seasonal event e.g Christmas or Easter or a Birthday that could progressively increase an action in increments worked out by the set count down day length. A use case might be:
Count down length set to 3weeks before Christmas Day and this would increase the action slightly each day at the set time in 21 (3weeks) increments until the action runs 100% of the set trigger, so if Xmas tree lights on trigger was Monday-Sunday 6pm-10pm (240mins) the Xmas tree lights on value would increase 11.43 mins per day until Xmas day. Another function that would be cool would be to reduce in set increments (based on another set length in days) the % of the trigger that is on after the set target date (possibly common festival dates with names could be preloaded as the plugin matured) and this would have the effect of slowly reducing the time the Xmas tree light would remain on until they didn’t turn on at all possibly prompting, maybe we should pack away the Xmas tree…
this could be use for lights leading up to a birthday or 4th July or even aircon on time leading into Summer or winter time.
