Use stockmarket as trigger?

Hi,

I’m stuck with the programming;

I have recently got a Hue Hub and was planning to leave the Vera/Z-wave for just make easy things with the Hue, but I’ve changed my mind and just installed the Hue app.

Now I’m trying to figure out how to create a scene where I can decide what a divice (i.g. all lamps would flash or change colour) would do if the stockmarket (or specific stock) goes up (or down). Any inputs? I’ve tried to find it att IFTTT but all I found was a trigger for the AAPL stock (and it only workes with Hue)

Check out the plug-in by @rigpapa called Site Sensor. It can pull JSON data from the web and react accordingly. In fact, I believe he already posted a working ‘recipe’ for stock info that you could modify and use.

Ther are a few stockmarket api’s that return json

you should be able to use site sensor plugin to phrase the data.
