There have been several questions about why the 7.29 firmware was not released for older controllers such as Vera Lite, Vera 3, etc.
We want to let you know that while we will be supporting these devices with their current functionality, we will not be issuing any software upgrades or new features for any device that pre-dates the Vera Edge, Vera Plus, and Vera Secure.
While we know some of you have these legacy devices, our reason for this decision is quite simple. We are building new features and products with a new architecture and a new series of best-in-class products—we want our focus to be on providing the kind experience that you deserve. To accomplish this, we have chosen to allocate our resources in such a way that makes it difficult for us to continuously upgrade all of our legacy devices.
