Vera Association 101 for Dummies

Hi there…still a new to Vera. I am looking for some cookbook steps to setup a simple hardware association for when a motion sensor detects it would turn on a light or two. I’ve been able to do this via a scene but I’d like to have a direct link between the sensor and the light switch to avoid the scene delay. I see in the device settings where this is setup but I don’t know understand the steps between the two devices. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hardware includes:
Vera Plus
Zooz 4 in one sensor ZSE40
Basic GE/Jasco light switch

Do it on the motion sensor device, go in to its Device Options and add an association group 2.

Then add the lights you want to turn on, by selecting them from the list.
