I am in the same boat. My wife’s iPhone has the premium but we have not updated iOS yet. Apple seems to tax older phones into needing an upgrade. Our 6’s are working fine on iOS 11 so we are hanging for a while.
Welp - my wife got an iPhone XR late last year and VeraMate is no longer available in the app store. She does not use the app much so she barely missed it. Last week, I also got an XR, and I have gone to the VeraMobile app. With the ability to customize the home screen, I think I can get it to function very close to how I have VeraMate set up.
So I can say VeraMate is certainly dead for me.
