Why is my Vera triggering automations when I have none set up?

I have Vera with homeassistant. I have settings for the turning on of lights when motion is triggered. I turned off the automations in homeassistant, yet they persist thru Vera. I turned off the entire home assistant server to make sure it wasn’t doing some voodoo, and they persist!

Is there a hidden setting where Vera has scenes or automations? My scenes area is blank!

And what happens when you turn off vera? Are they zwave associations maybe?

Scenes can be hidden in Vera, but this is generally only used for system-generated notifications.
