X10 Wifi Hub--Integrate with Vera??

Hi All, not sure that this is the best place for this question… We recently purchased a house with several legacy X10 devices. I believe these devices are controlled by a newer X10 wifi hub. I’d like to integrate these into vera and trying to figure out if it’s doable. I’ve played around with the CM11 plugin and a couple of devices show up but don’t seem to be functional or correspond to the devices in the wifi hub. I also have an old PLM module from our last house, but from what I’m reading, am not sure it’s going to be helpful.

If anyone can give me any pointers to head me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. It seems like the wifi hub should make this much easier, but I’m not sure where to start.

Before you can do anything, you will need to get your x-10 system in order. Try getting your x-10 modules to work with Total Commander or another similar interface. Here is the link: https://www.ghisler.com/amazons3.php

Once you have that done. Contact me and I can tell you the next step.

Before you begin realize that the only really doable way to integrate X10 is to set up the HA Bridge environment, which is a Home automation bridge that emulates a Philips Hue Bridge Light System. You will have to bridge the Vera and the HA Bridge and set-up individual devices to work with your individual X-10 modules. Once that is complete you will be able to use Vera and also the Amazon Echo to control your x10 system.
