I want a motion detector to change the mode from Away or Night to Home when tripped but only at the transition.
If motion persists I’d like to be able to switch back to Away or Night till the motion sensor transitions again.
Watch the leading edge of the transition?
Flicking back and forward between modes doesn’t feel like a great move. Reactor can use a sustained feature that means should you have no motion detected for n minutes (your value of n) then it trips, which can set mode.
This is what I do with a few motion detectors as opposed to having everything go off at 2330 when we were still up (which is what used to happen)
Now if I forget to turn it off when I go to bed, it happens automagically.
