I want to be able to control lights based on play/pause/stop state of PLEX.
I have been researching how to control Vera with Plex. And since im not a programmer, can’t develop my own app.
The only things I found were a plugin for Unraid (which I’m not using) and for Hue (which I’m also not using).
BUT…here is an idea, please let me know what you think, as I am unfamiliar with the Hue interface.
- Install the Hue Plex plugin.
- Install a Virtual Hue Bridge to receive webhooks data from Plex.
- Install a Hue App on Vera (which I assume could interact with the Virtual Hue Bridge?)
- Use Reactor to control lights based on vera Hue app.
Do you think this could work?
