I found this at Lowes (https://www.lowes.com/pd/GE-Z-Wave-Zigbee-Bluetooth-15-Amp-3-Way-White-Toggle-Light-Switch/999911949) and I’m confused by what they mean when they say it’s an add-on switch. Does that mean it will work with my Vera hub?
This isn’t an add-on in the sense that the 3-way dimmer required an add-on switch, right?
Thanks.

It’s a 3-way switch for use with a GE wall switch or dimmer unit. It cannot control a load by itself as it has no electronics.
Damn, I completely overlooked that this was also a 3-way switch.
Thanks.

The blurb doesn’t really make it clear—easy to overlook. I’ve had excellent results from Zooz–the ZEN21 is a nice Z-Wave switch for under USD30.
Zooz has an April fool’s sale. Their zen21 is $25 at TheSmartestHouse.com until 4/7

Ya I saw this posted earlier…cost me $300
I still have spare toggle switches from a prior sale.
It’s the 15a appliance module that’s calling my name for no good reason.

It’s a good reason. The module works well—I use several for control and monitoring of the freezer in the garage and the equipment on the UPS.
