Mimolite control of garage door

Newbie here.

Installed the Mimolite device successfully into my Vera plus. I can control the output relay (momentary operation) fine from the Vera UI. I know how to wire things up (mimolite relay output to the garage door controller inputs).

My questions are:

  1. Are there updated instructions for garage door app installation into Vera. Something that will control the up/down of the garage door, simulating (say) a 2 second press of the traditional garage door button.
  2. For sensing the status (open / closed) of the garage door, I am using a WIRED contact closure (via relay) setup. And so the inputs I want to use are the mimolite inputs (versus using a separate zwave wireless sensor, for example). How do I do that?
