The /www/cmh/skins/default/icons/ folder is read-write for root. If you’re using WinSCP you must log in as root to copy the icon files from your PC to that folder.

There’s no need to do the chmod.

The current permissions of the file system will not allow the permissions themselves to be changed. But you can copy files into that folder.

I have exactly the same issue, I cannot copy files to that icons folder, but if you check the path, you are talking about
/default/icons which does not exist in our system,
But it exists
/default/img/icons, which is read only.
I mentioned that in an earlier post. Any idea is welcome

After reading thru other post, i got it.
If the folder does not exist you have to create one in that default folder. You cannot use the one in the img subfolder.
Can you gave me the complete path please ? I m really intersted
