Server issues - Your Connection is Not Private

Apologies if this is covered already…I have been searching the threads regarding all the issues.

I can’t even get the server to install. I run the .jar file and get a Privacy Error - Not Secure - Your Connection is Not Private web page at https://localhost:8989/

Not being sure if it installed correctly, I grabbed the install.bat output below.

As you can see I’m on Java 8.0_161, although the documentation variously mentions Java 1.8 ??

Any pointers most welcome…looks like more great work Richard

The warning you are seeing is just that the SSL cert is not trusted in your browser. This is normal and you should not worry. The cert that is being used is a self signed cert. Since its not trusted in your browser, you get this warning. Depending on your browser, you can just accept/ignore warning and proceed to the site.

Since this is a local site you can ignore this. If you were to see this on public web site, I would be worried, but in this cause you should have have any worriers.
