SmartThings water Sensor HELP

I purchased a SmartThings Water Leak Sensor as others have said it will pair with my VeraPlus. I did that. Being new, I didn’t realize there was more needed then that.

Mine (2AF4S-STS-WTR-250) is a 2016 model and is pairing as a generic ZigBee device. BUT, the only options for notifications are “Level goes below”, “Level goes above” and “battery level”.

When I get it wet, I don’t seem to get any reaction. ( I created scenes for goes above 0 and below 100).

What can I do so this is usable?
